Day 1 – Welcome to the Heart of the Amazon
We will pick you up at the airport or your accommodation in Leticia to start your Amazon rainforest tour to Puerto Nariño. After a scenic public boat ride along the majestic Amazon River, you will reach this eco-friendly village, where our local team will welcome you. We explore the village on foot and visit either the Natutama or Wochine Center, both dedicated to conservation and local culture, an essential part of any authentic Amazon jungle trip. After lunch, we head to the Tarapoto Lakes to look for an pink river dolphins during your Amazon river tour. Depending on the season, you can enjoy traditional fishing and swimming in the lake (high water season) or walk along Amazon river beaches (dry season), while experiencing a unique Amazon adventure travel journey.
Day 2 – Encounter of Cultures & Ecosystems in the Amazon Rainforest
After breakfast, we cross the river to San Antonio (Peru) to see the impressive Victoria Regia water lilies and explore the Amazon lowland rainforest—if you’re lucky, you may spot sloths, a highlight of any Amazon rainforest tour.
